In the excitement of creating, too often we artists neglect our bodies and minds as equally critical tools of our trade. We know incorporating practices like stress relief, mindfulness, physical exercise and healthy eating habits help us live better, so it's worthwhile to build an action plan for one’s physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health into one’s creative practice. Hands-on exercises, self-assessments, and group conversation will guide participants of this in-person workshop through the process of building healthy habits with a focus on reducing stress and anxiety. Using evidence-based templates, visual maps, SMART goals, and other tools, participants will design their own 30-day wellness plan of actionable steps to improve their daily lives and increase their ability to become more creative, healthy, energized, and productive.n optional second half of facilitated small group close reading of objects and interventions for those who want a deeper dive.
